This is for yoga teachers who want a rigorous and thorough foundation so they can confidently teach yoga to survivors of any type of cancer, at any stage of recovery. This is an incredible opportunity to serve your community. 99% of course participants register for the 200-hour course. Pre-requisites: previous completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training in any tradition, minimum one year regular teaching experience, have a heart for working with cancer survivors.
- Professional/personal enrichment: 50-hour intensive only. **On a space-available basis** If you are a health care practitioner or cancer survivor who is interested in the course material, but have no desire to teach yoga to others, you can apply to participate in the 50-hour intensive only. Pre-requisite: consistent yoga practice for a minimum of three years, be able to explain how this course is applicable to your life and/or work.
This is a very impressive program. I am confident that participants are being taught how to safely and effectively teach yoga to cancer survivors. If we were to start yoga classes at our hospital I would want the teacher to have gone through your program.
